High quality and safety of FAKRO roof windows (FTP-V, FTL-V) – as the only ones on the market - has been confirmed by German TÜV certificate.
The TÜV certificate is a control sign that proves the high quality of products and their safety. Products are tested at 50 locations around the world by 1400 experts exploiting the most advanced measuring devices in the world's finest laboratories. The process of producing FAKRO roof windows is also supervised by FAKRO TÜV auditors. FAKRO roof windows will be marked with TÜV-SÜD logo.

From 7 until 10 April, Vilnius was the host of RESTA trade show during which FAKRO presented their impressive offer. The slogan of the fair was "Time for economical building" which referred to current crisis which also affected building branch.
FAKRO, devoting a lot of effort into development and growth, has prepared for the time of crisis many new products that will suit clients with lower income. More advanced products like high pivot window or duet high pivot window were presented as well.
502 traders from 12 countries presented their offer within the area of 30 thousand square meters. Trade show was visited by 40 thousand visitors.
The area of FAKRO exhibition was 20 square meters. FAKRO presented following products: L-shaped combination window with FPP and FTH-V, FTP-V windows and loft ladders. Visitors were especially interested in FPP window and loft ladders. The stand attracted many people who have never heard about the FAKRO Company. They asked a lot of questions concerning the company and the possibility of buying FAKRO products. During four days FAKRO exposition was visited by 3 thousand people.

Mosbuild is the biggest and the most important trade show in Russia. This year, Moscow's trade show celebrated its 15th anniversary. During the fair, there was presented a whole range of products as well as building services, including the newest technological achievements and building solutions. For this trade show is considered to be the biggest one in Moscow, it is held simultaneously at two great exhibition centres: 'Expocentr' – Exhibition Centre and 'Krokus Expo' International Exhibition Centre. The total area of both fairgrounds amounted to 160 000 m2.
Traders presented their offer during specially prepared thematic exhibitions: Buildex (technologies and building products), Stonex (building and finishing with the use of stone), Cersanex (ceramics and bathrooms), CountryLiving (landscape architecture) and MosInteriors (decoration and interior decor).
Mosbuild trade show attracted over 2.7 thousand traders from 42 countries and over 100 thousand visitors. Russian fair is receiving more and more attention each year from both traders and visitors.
The area of FAKRO exhibition was 35 m2. Our stand was visited by 10 thousand guests with whom many new business contacts were established.
From 12 till 17 January 2009, the biggest trade shows in Europe – BAU 2009 were held. On 180 000 square meters – 1800 traders from 42 countries presented their products in 16 trade show rooms. The trade show has been visited by 211000 visitors from 150 countries – that was an immense number of traders - the highest one in the history of BAU.
FAKRO presented its 3 newest products: duet high - pivot window FDH, top hung and pivot FHP and solar panels for roof window's combinations - SKW. They were presented over the area of 110 square meters. Additionally, FTP-V Electro window was presented, as well as FSP smoke ventilation window, arc window and aluminium-clad plastic roof windows – PPP and PTP-V.
Besides standard aluminium claddings, copper and zinc finishings were shown.
FAKRO was also showing its topSafe system in BAU.

From 19 till 24 February, the FAKRO Company was participating yet again in International Bouwbeurs 2009 Trade Shows. Bouwbeur's Trade Shows are held every two years in Utrecht, Netherlands. Both the newest products and already known ones were presented over 110 square meters. Batibouw Trade Shows were the first ones where FAKRO has presented the construction of a stand from carton, plaster and OSB instead of wooden and metal one. New construction has been designed by an external company. Unlike previous Trade Shows – the work of FAKRO labourers was restricted only to windows' assembly. The whole work of the stand preparation was done by the Belgian company – Belgii- Dekor.
Combination of two duet high-pivot windows [94x206] attracted the most attention. Duet high-pivot FDH and high-pivot FTH-V windows were especially interesting for trade's visitors. FTH-V was presented in dimensions of 94x180 cm. This immense size, makes it possible to provide sufficient amount of daylight inside the room without the need for any combinations. For that reason was the window chosen and presented, especially in Netherlands - for Dutchmen as the tallest people in the world are able to come close the edge of the window without any problems. Another new product that was presented in Bouwebeurs was the solar panel. The panel [114x140] was combined with aluminium-clad plastic window [78x140]. From 26 February till 9 March Trade Shows in Batibouw, Belgium were held . FAKRO stand in Bouwebers was very similar to the Dutch one.

FAKRO participates in about 20 trade shows during the whole year.
There is a possibility to have at least four business arrangements during one trade show.
According to the specialists, there are at least seven reasons to appear on a trade show: prestige, brand building, meeting customers, attracting new customers, promoting new products, getting familiar with products of the competition and gathering necessary contacts with trade specialists.
FAKRO takes part both in local and international trade shows.
The year 2009 is the year of FAKRO participation in fifteen important International Trade Shows.
This year, FAKRO has already participated in BAU Munich in Germany, Bouwbeurs in Netherlands and Batibouw in Belgium. Next, the company is going to appear in Russia, Ukraine, Romania, Lithuania, England, Slovakia, Latvia, Hungary, Czech Republic, Portugal, Kazakhstan and France.
