The LWS-P Attic Ladder is a folding pine wood attic ladder, supplied with an insulated hatch door. The door is beige on the inside and outside.

Treads are fitted using dovetail joints for added durability. There is a space between the treads and the hatch door, for more comfortable foot positioning onto the treads. Safety grooves are cut into the treads to prevent slipping.

Steps do not protrude over the ladder surface.

Design

Normally a 1 1/16" thick insulated hatch door is installed with all Fakro loft ladders. The hatch door is a pine wood frame, finished one each side with a white or beige HDF panel.

The outer side (visible when the door is closed) of the hatch door is smooth- with no fixing points visible.The lock and the metal rod supplied make closing of the hatch door easy.

The ladder is fastened with angle brackets that enable the ladder to be positioned and fixed precisely.

The unique opening mechanism is designed in such a way that it does not hinder your access to the loft. The adjustable opening door spring mechanism suits personal preference. All ladders’ hatch doors are fully edge sealed with a sealing strip to minimize heat loss.
