The Vienna Zero Energy Home features a complete roof window system designed to support natural daylight, ventilation, exterior shading, and convenient electric operation.

Installed on a standing seam metal roof, the project includes one FPP-V P5G Z-Wave preSelect roof window and three FNP P5G fixed roof windows. All units feature P5G triple-glazed glass with a low-emissivity coating, while the combination of operable and fixed roof windows provides both ventilation and additional daylight.

The FPP-V Z-Wave roof window allows for convenient electric operation and everyday ventilation. The fixed FNP roof windows add more natural light while maintaining the same glazing package used across the roof window system.

The roof windows were installed with EBV-PT thermo flashing for standing seam metal roofing. This flashing includes an additional foam insulation element around the roof window frame and helps integrate the windows with the metal roofing system.

For exterior shading and comfort control, the home also includes ARZ Z-Wave exterior roller shutters. These shutters help manage sunlight and heat before it reaches the glass, giving the homeowner better control over indoor comfort.

Additional accessories include an AMS mosquito screen, ZRH12 US remote controls, and ZZ16A power supplies. Together, these components create a complete daylighting and comfort solution for a high-performance residential home.
