The International Construction and Architecture Fair BUDMA was held in Poznań between 2 – 5 February 2020. For the 29th time, FAKRO has invariably been present at this most important event in the construction industry in Poland and Central Europe. BUDMA is one of the most significant meeting places for manufacturers and distributors, modern technologies and building materials with trade representatives, architects, contractors and investors.
A number of people have visited FAKRO stand full of attractions and surprises. The Company presented its top products such as the innovative Galeria balcony window whose sashes when opened create a balcony and the latest solutions, including the FTP-V Solar roof window powered by solar energy. The FTT U8 Thermo, one of the warmest roof windows with a single glazing unit on the market and having Passive Haus certificate, was a must for us to show during the fair.
Once again, FAKRO was the Gold Partner of the 10th Polish Young Roofers Championships (held every two years during the Budma Fair). The aim of the two-day competition was to select the best roofing teams in the country. In addition to roof windows, young roofers installed wooden and aluminium FAKRO | INNOVIEW vertical window, which, following the latest trends, is often processed with sheet metal or natural slate on a vertical wall.
As every year, FAKRO was the General Sponsor of the Golden Trowel Construction Tournament. During the competition, best vocational school students from all over Poland tested their skills in six construction categories, with six participants in each of them. The tournament has been organized for over 40 years. Its formula is similar to vocational exams. This allows participants to check their knowledge and skills required to work in the profession.
