Flashings for FAKRO Skylights: FXC and FVC-S

Flashings are crucial for correctly installing curb-mounted skylights. They ensure reliable drainage, protect against wind, and maintain a secure seal around the skylight. Both EL-C and EH-C flashings are made from aluminum, coated with a durable polyester varnish for long-lasting performance.

Roof Slope Range

• FXC and FVC-S Skylights: Installable on roofs from 0° to 60°.

• EL-C and EH-C Flashings: Required for slopes 15° to 60°.

• No flashing needed between 0° and 14°.

Color:

• Black (RAL 7022) finish for both EL-C and EH-C flashings.

   Confirm that you have an FXC or FVC-S curb-mounted skylight (the EL-C and EH-C flashings are made specifically for these models).

2. Match Your Roofing Material

   • EL-C – For flat materials (e.g., shingles, plain tile, slate) up to roughly 3/8 in thick.

   • EH-C – For corrugated or wavy roofing coverings with a profile height of up to 3 1/2 in.

3. Choose the Correct Size
